10.00 64 minutes Episode 1 begins in the North Island, at the capital city of Wellington. Driving with my Kiwi friend Matt, he takes me off the beaten track to show me how Kiwi's enjoy their own country. Stops include Vinegar Hill, Napier, Tokomaru Bay, Rere Rockslide and Whakatane to do the White Island Volcano Tour. Then I take Matt on the classic backpacking trail, making him a tourist in his own country.
Stops include Auckland, Waiheke Island, Waitomo Glow Worm Caves, Rotorua, Taupo and the Tongariro Crossing.
